Conservative Pastors to Break Law by Endorsing a Candidate

Defying a federal tax law they consider unjust, 33 ministers across the country will take to their pulpits this Sunday and publicly endorse a candidate for president.



They plan to then send copies of their sermons to the Internal Revenue Service, hoping to provoke a challenge to a law that bars religious organizations and other nonprofits that accept tax-deductible contributions from involvement in partisan political campaigns.

Many say they are agnoctic, they do not know if there is a god or several gods. Often the same people separates themself from atheists as part of explaning why they say the are agnostics. But atheist and agnostics are not a scale to use.


To be agnostic has to do with knowing.
Do you know there is a god? Yes or no. If you don't know you are an agnoctic.

To be an atheist has to do with belief.
Do you believe in a god? Yes or no. If you don't believe you are an atheist.


There is a difference between knowning and believing. Don't act if there is not.

If you know there is a god. You are insane.
If you know there isn't a god, you possibly dos not understand the way of proving things. We can never disprove there isn't a god, a pink unicorn, Santa Claus/Father Christmas, a Flying Spaghetti Monster, Easter Bunny or, or, or, or ....


Don't use the them agnostic it has no meaning because we are all agnostics.

When i spoke to his wife, Ann Druyan, she said she thought Carl had gotten to the point where he would never buy another leather jacket. Anyway his remarks here also apply to our attitudes towards other species.

Carbon dating doesn't work -- debunked

Living snails that carbon-date to 2,300 years old, a living seal that was carbon-dated at 1,300 years old, and 8,000-year-old living penguins. Not to mention dinosaur bones that dated to 20,000 years ago. Obviously carbon dating doesn't work, unless you understand it. Here's the explanation that even a 5th-grader can understand.

Since its founding in 1830, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has insisted that it alone represents true Christianity and that all other churches professing the name of Christ are part of a "Great Apostasy," that has incorporated corrupt doctrine and practices. The producers of this video are well aware that members of the LDS Church are sincere about their beliefs, and it is not our desire to belittle those who hold to those beliefs. In fact, we would be the first to defend the right of every Latter-day Saint to share their faith with others and we hope that they will allow us the same courtesy.

Why Mormonism? Many of those involved with this project were once members of the LDS Church. At one time they believed very strongly that Joseph Smith was a true prophet sent by God to restore Christianity to the earth. When they realized that their presuppositions were not true they had to make some extremely difficult life-changing decisions.

This product includes many of those difficult issues with which they had to wrestle. It is easy for some to automatically assume that those who disagree with the premises of the LDS Church are motivated by hatred and are therefore "anti-Mormon;" however, it is our hope that thoughtful people will look beyond the name-calling to carefully examine the areas of belief that separate the LDS Church from the biblical norm.

In our experience we have found that many people have a very limited understanding of what Mormon leaders have actually taught. Because this is true even within the LDS Church, some Mormons might feel that much of what this DVD contains is fabricated. For this reason great pains have been made to document the statements it contains. Several of them are taken directly from LDS publications and speeches given by those who are recognized as authorities in the LDS Church.
