A former minister, Teresa MacBain received her B.S. in Christian Education at Samford University and her M.Div at Duke Divinity School. Teresa MacBain also holds the distinction of being the first female graduate of The Clergy Project, a private, invitation-only "safe house" community of current and former ministers who no longer hold the supernatural beliefs of their religious traditions.
Teresa MacBain is now the Director of Public Relations for American Atheists and speaks across the country. This presentation is a fascinating look into the "shift" that ultimately propelled her from a champion of the scriptures to a champion for reason.
