Have to agree with the philosophers. They ooze good sense. Some of the points made by the religious side are frankly laughable!

I absolutely despise the continual and utterly pathetic sophistry of the religious in saying "well, everyone has faith in something" which intends to give them credit where it really isn't due. Do I "have faith" in gravity or is it a case that science has established it as a verifiable fact? The kind of faith purported by the religious is anything but scientific and actually entails the suspense of reason. The difference is colossal, hence the need for two separate terms- "fact" and "faith", the latter denoting superstitious nonsense.
