"Over at Fox News, they're none too happy with an ad set up in Times Square by American Atheists telling people Jesus isn't necessarily the reason for the season, but one New York state lawmaker has finally ratcheted the debate all the way up to 11, saying it's the kind of religious affront to God and man that encourages the kind of religious persecution that led to the Holocaust.
State senator Andrew Lanza is incensed about the ad, and said last week it's part of the "continued 'War on Christmas,'" and set up a petition to get it taken down so Christians stop being forced to get offended every time they see it."*
