After taking on the fallout from the Supreme Court’s gay marriage position, Jon Stewart tonight zoned in on Justice Antonin Scalia and his “terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day.”
Stewart laughed at Scalia for using phrases like “jiggery-pokery” and “applesauce,” and said he’s being hypocritical for believing in the will of the people when it comes to gay marriage, but not on a whole host of other issues the Supreme Court has taken up.
But then, to honor “one of the worst Fridays of his life,” Stewart presented a cartoon of a stout little Scalia having a really bad day (including his own personal raincloud and jars of applesauce).
