how do you not get it? the bus ads are about being open with your athiesm, which we all should be, but the guy who donated the money is keeping it a secret because hes ashamed of his atheism
obviously there are people who can come out, and those who has really serious family or social concerns and can't, like say my mother would probably not have a good nights sleep ever again if I did.. i'd still be supportive of this kind of thing.
Olberman does not acknowledge that it is perfectly sound logic to give social acceptence to people who want to come out and are on the brink of doing so while hiding your identity because you happen to have an exeptionaly bad circumstance.
Not to mention the person might have come out as an atheist, just not as the donor as that might get some flak from extremists.
I usually agree with olbermans tone and I see the humor in the irony though this time he misses.
