The last question on the programme was: "regarding the gay wedding cake that's been in the news, should the courts be deciding whose rights and beliefs are more of a priority?"
David Dimbleby: This is in Northern Ireland. The people who run a bakery - Christian run bakery - and they refused to put on the cake that was proposed "Support Gay Marriage." And as a result they were taken to court and fined £500. What do you make of it Tim Farron?

The five panelists, Tim Farron, Nicky Morgan, Stella Creasy, Owen Jones and Hilary Devey, all agreed that businesses (in this case Ashers Bakery - http://www.ashers.co.uk/ ) should provide services to the public without discrimination.
