The world's largest gold coin

The making of the world's largest gold coin, a 2007 Canadian $1,000.000 Maple Leaf.

This coin broke all records when it was auctioned off at Dorotheum. Aside from its staggering weight and size (100 kilos/53 cm in diameter), the coin, which it took three strong men to lift, is remarkable for its purity; it is made of the finest, most refined gold in existence (999.99/1000 gold).
