This was AronRas portion of 'Reason on the Bayou' at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge on 2013/04/14.
It was hosted by the Secular Student Alliance, Lake Charles Free Thinkers, Capital Area Atheists and Agnostics, NOSHA, and the Louisiana chapter of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State.
All the speakers seemed to be of one-mind that day, how to deal with the encroachment of religion into politics at every level regardless where where you are in America. For my part, AronRa spoke about our recent confrontation with the city council of Rowlett Texas, regarding their insistence on holding a prayer invocation as a public display when each meeting convenes.
