Richard Dawkins BHA Award Acceptance Speech 2012

Richard Dawkins quotes a passages from Bertrand Russell and Julian Huxley, along with creating his own rhyme about Andrew Copson during his acceptance speech for the BHA award of Services to Humanism.



Richard speaks of his idea for a new degree course with evolution at the centre, branching out into philosophy, economics, engineering, medicine, agriculture, social science, linguistics, physics, cosmology, computer science, and more...

Charles Darwin is discussed with references to how all Doctors should be Darwinian's and how past mistakes could have been avoided if that were so.

Professor Dawkins also discusses Balliol College and talks of how classics and scientific disciplines can be tied in together, emphasising the importance of the study of classics in terms of evolution.
