1) Refusal of the flyover etc.
Good. Separation of church and state, as supposedly guaranteed by the constitution. At least Obama has the nous and integrity to actually enact this.
2) Secularists "disrespecting" religion.
Non-argument. You wouldn't let your tax money fund resources for a witchcraft festival, would you? As religion is in the same category as witchcraft- although I'm yet to hear of a witch flying (on her broomstick?) into a building in the name of her imaginary friend- your pleas, like your prayers, fall on deaf ears.
Religion deserves all the disrespect it gets; it is a form of thought-fascism which needs to be toppled before it destroys the planet.
3) Global Warming.
Beyond childish to say "Oh, well China isn't doing anything, so why should we?" You imbecile! Because if we keep pumping out shit into the atmosphere then ALL OF HUMANITY will be no more! The idea that "the only reasonable way to tackle climate change is by prayer" is highly offensive and scarily ignorant. It's like washing your hands and then trying to take all the credit for a successful judgment.
4) America is a prosperous nation due to Judea-Christian values.
So many reasons why that's wrong, but as for the economic success of the USA, doesn't Jesus preach that "the love of money is the root of all evil"? Oh wait, hold on, my bad, since when did Christians actually follow what it says in their scripture? How foolish of me!
