Sharon Stone on Speaks on China
Sharon Stone ask the question. Is the earthquake in China a result of the Communist government's treatment of Tibet.
Sharon Stone has sparked anger in China after in this interview suggesting the recent earthquake was a result of the government's treatment of Tibet.
Sharon Stones way of thinking is in line whit the Buddhist teaching of karma. Karma is ofcource bullshit but if you believe in karma the question is not bad.

Roman Catholicsm Exposed
Everyone has heard of the pedophilia of roman catholic priests in the news, but what is not as well known is that there is an actual documented vatican law that protects pedophiles. Some priests will deny this, but it is a fact even they would like to cover up. This videoclip provides some other salient and relevant points concerning the deception of roman catholic doctrines and practises that have been well exposed in this video.

The Life of Buddha (Buddhism)
Over 2,500 years ago, one man showed the world a way to enlightenment. This beautifully produced Buddhist film meticulously reveals the fascinating story of Prince Siddhartha and the spiritual transformation that turned him into the Buddha.
In the beginning the say buddha founded the first world religion. It is not correct. I will argue if Buddhism is a world religion, so is Hinduism and Hinduism was before.

God of the Old Testament
Who is the God of the Old Testament?
Yahweh: "The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unplesant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser, a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully."

Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
Music video & lyrics: Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus (from 1989)
Lyric:
Reach out and touch faith
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who’s there
Feeling unknown
And you’re all alone
Flesh and bone
By the telephone
Lift up the receiver
I’ll make you a believer
Take second best
Put me to the test
Things on your chest
You need to confess
I will deliver
You know I’m a forgiver
Reach out and touch faith
Reach out and touch faith
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who’s there
Feeling unknown
And you’re all alone

The highly anticipated, comic and controversial feature documentary, "Flock of Dodos: the evolution-intelligent design circus," is the first feature film to take an even-handed look at the intelligent design vs. evolution clash that appeared on the covers of Time and Newsweek in 2005.
Filmmaker, scientist, surfer and evolutionary biologist Dr. Randy Olson explores the controversy over the teaching of evolution and the recently developed alternative, intelligent design. Olson, a native of Kansas, visits his home state and the community of Dover, Pennsylvania, which attempted to introduce intelligent design in science classes. Olson draws on basic aspects of evolution as metaphors, including the extinct dodo, which he suggests symbolizes what happens to those unable to change with their environment.
Featured are seven top advocates for intelligent design, including Dr. Michael Behe, author of "Darwin's Black Box," fourteen evolution Ph.D.'s, a poker game among eight evolutionists, a rabbit eating its own poop, and a flock of animated dodos playing poker, dancing, and helping the audience answer the question, "who really is the 'flock of dodos?'" Though writer/director Randy Olson is a self-proclaimed evolutionist, this film truly does treat both sides of the issue with respect. Olson is from Kansas, where the Intelligent Design controversy was born, and interviews all the major names in Intelligent Design (John Calvert, Michael Behe, and Jack Cashill to name a few).
The genius in Olson's movie is in never settling into a "PBS-style" science documentary. The frame of the film never gets weighted down by boring science lectures or obfuscating intellectuals. The film, instead, hangs it's hat on hilarious dodo animations, slick graphic sequences, and a humorous yet honest approach to the whole topic. "Flock of Dodos" will truly have people on both sides of the issue quoting the film in the theater lobby.
The anti-evolution "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" with Ben Stein could be could be considered a response to Flock Of Dodos.

Atheism: A Rough History of Disbelief
Atheism: A Rough History of Disbelief. Documentary by BBC 4
Shadows of Doubt Jonathan Miller visits the absent Twin Towers to consider the religious implications of 9/11 and meets Arthur Miller and the philosopher Colin McGinn. He searches for evidence of the first 'unbelievers' in Ancient Greece and examines some of the modern theories around why people have always tended to believe in mythology and magic.
Part 1
Part 2
With the domination of Christianity from 500 AD, Jonathan Miller wonders how disbelief began to re-emerge in the 15th and 16th centuries. He discovers that division within the Church played a more powerful role than the scientific discoveries of the period. He also visits Paris, the home of the 18th century atheist, Baron D'Holbach, and shows how politically dangerous it was to undermine the religious faith of the masses.
Part 3: The Final Hour
Baron d'Holbach 1723-1789 (Paul-Henri Thiry d'Holbach) the first openly European atheist

I made a list I'm certain can get me elected.

Dispatches: In God's Name (about Christianity)
Dispatches: In God's Name by Channel 4. Aired: May 19, 2008. About Crazy Christians
Dispatches explores the growth and increasing influence of Christian fundamentalists.
As the Human Fertilisation and Embryo Bill continues its way through Parliament, David Modell follows some of the leading members of Christian pressure groups as they attempt to win converts and convince MPs to base laws on Biblical beliefs.
Hard-line Christian activists are now mobilising believers in an attempt to make an impact on society nationally. Followers believe abortion and homosexuality should be illegal, there should be no sex before marriage and that the law of blasphemy should be strictly enforced.
They say the Bible is the definitive word of God and is literally true and are intolerant of other faiths. The film follows well funded and politically active Christian groups and shows them emerging as a significant voice in British politics.

Movie: Inherit The Wind (from 1960)
Based on a real-life case in 1925 (The Monkey Trial / The Scopes Trial), two great lawyers argue the case for and against a science teacher accused of the crime of teaching evolution.
Watch this great movie: Spencer Tracy, Gene Kelly, Stanley Kramer, Harry Morgan, Dick York, Donna Anderson and many other.
Inherit the Wind (1960) portrays, in partly fictionalized form, the famous and dramatic courtroom "Monkey Trial" battle (in the sultry summer of 1925 in Dayton, Tennessee) between two famous lawyers (Clarence Darrow and William Jennings Bryan) who volunteered to heatedly argue both sides of the case (over 12 days, including two weekends).
Its story centers around the issue of evolution vs. creationism, in the prosecution of 24 year-old Dayton High School mathematics teacher and sports coach - and substitute science teacher - John T. Scopes for violating state law (the 1925 Butler Act) by teaching the Darwin's theory of evolution in a state-funded school.
The film's title was taken from the Biblical book of Proverbs 11:29: "He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind." [In fact, Scopes deliberately agreed to challenge the Tennessee legislature's statutes and become a "friendly" test case for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) by allegedly teaching theories that denied the Biblical story of the divine creation of man.
Although Scopes was brilliantly defended by Darrow, Scopes was found guilty and fined $100 on July 21st. In 1927, Darrow and the ACLU appealed the case before the Tennessee Supreme Court, which invalidated the Dayton court decision on a minor technicality - the fine should have been set by the jury, not the judge, they ruled - and the case was dismissed without further appeal.
Because the Butler Act was still on the books in the mid-1950s, on July 10, 1955, the ACLU formally requested that Tennessee Governor Frank G. Clement initiate the repeal of that law. But the law remained on the books for over another decade. In 1968, the US Supreme Court ruled in Epperson v. Arkansas that bans such as the Butler Act were unconstitutional, because they contravened the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment, since their primary purpose was religious.]

What was said to the woman/women at the tomb of Jesus?
Matthew 28, 1 - 5:
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified
(Who violent was the earthquake it it did not even remove the stone from the tomb?
Mark 16, 1 - 6:
When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. 2Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.
Luke 24, 1 - 8:
On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' " Then they remembered his words.
John 20, 1 - 16:
Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!"
So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus' head. The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
Then the disciples went back to their homes, but Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb 12and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?"
"They have taken my Lord away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put him." At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.
"Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?"
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him."
Jesus said to her, "Mary."
She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher).
Was Mary Magdalene alone?
Where there another Maria (was she the mother of James).
Was Salome there also?

Atheist comming out - moms reaction
Mom: "You are an atheist. Give me a fucking brake Michael! Allright. We need to go to church every week."
Michael: "I don't believe in God"
Mom: "You get absolutely nothing for Christmas. For thats what Christmas is about. It's Jesus Christ."
View Pissed Catholic Mother video
Sadly some will get pissed of if you tell them you are an atheist but not all. Some Christians are not this stupid.
If you fear this will happen if you come out as an atheist. Please write me or other atheists.
BTW: Christmas is mush older than the myth about Jesus of Nazarath. It is celebrating the days are getting longer/nights are getting shorter.
If the biggest thing that can happen if you stop believing in God/Jesus is you wont get pressents for Christmas. Then it Christianity is shallow. Who needs more stuff?

God, The Universe, and Everything Else
Play all videos (6)
Panel: Stephen Hawkings, Carl Sagan, and Arthur C. Clarke
This is a candid discussion between world renowned physicists and thinkers. Keep in mind that this was video taped sometime around 1988 when Hawking's book was first published and red-shift had yet to be confirmed by Hubble as it was not in orbit then.
Despite the absence of seemingly essential components in scientific understanding, the idea that the universe is void of theistic explanation if not deity itself still remains.
Carl Sagan's foreword to Hawking's book is exemplary, and by similar methods you will see how these minds are able to create the truer nature of our understanding of celestial bodies, as Laplace made clear, without any assumption of Godly intervention.

Another great atheist weblog
There is other great atheist weblogs than this Religion is Man-Made. I got the webmaster from Midwest Atheist to descripe this weblog:
I have made an attempt to capture and categorize all of the best videos on the internet that pertain to atheism, religion, and superstition. The videos are able to be easily sorted based on subject matter (ex- Documentary, Debate, Humorous, Evolution, Politics, Christianity, Islam, Mormon, Scientology, etc), conferences (ex- Beyond Belief, TED, TAM, etc), television channel (ex- HBO, NBC, CBS, etc), and by the name of the subject (ex: Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Dan Dennett, etc). One thing that I've done that other similar blogs have not is that I have included a link to a page with all of the video links on one page for easy browsing or searching. I've also included links to websites, blogs, and podcasts that I find interesting and helpful as they relate to this subject matter. I hope you will find my site useful, educational, and entertaining.

Richard Dawkins was interviewed by Fanny Kiefer on Vancouver, BC's Shaw TV.
I have never read about or heard from Fanny Kiefer before. But in this interview she stands out a very unknowing person. She sounds like she did not know about what evolution is. At one time Fanny Kiefer speaks out "The Origin of Species" like it is some kind of science theory, but it is the title of Charles Darwins first book.

XTC - Dear God (music video)
Dear god,
Hope you got the letter,
And I pray you can make it better down here.
I don't mean a big reduction in the price of beer,
But all the people that you made in your image,
See them starving on their feet,
cause they don't get enough to eat
From god.
I can't believe in you.
Dear god,
Sorry to disturb you,
But I feel that I should be heard loud and clear.
We all need a big reduction in amount of tears,
And all the people that you made in your image,
See them fighting in the street,
cause they cant make opinions meet,
About god.
I can't believe in you.
Did you make disease, and the diamond blue?
Did you make mankind after we made you?
And the devil too!
Dear god,
Don't know if you noticed,
But your name is on a lot of quotes in this book.
Us crazy humans wrote it, you should take a look,
And all the people that you made in your image,
Still believing that junk is true.
Well I know it ain't and so do you,
Dear god,
I can't believe in,
I don't believe in,
I won't believe:
in heaven and hell.
No saints, no sinners,
No devil as well.
No pearly gates, no thorny crown.
You're always letting us humans down.
The wars you bring, the babes you drown.
Those lost at sea and never found,
And it's the same the whole world round.
The hurt I see helps to compound,
That the father, son, and holy ghost,
Is just somebody's unholy hoax,
And if you're up there you'll perceive,
That my hearts here upon my sleeve.
If theres one thing I don't believe in...
It's you,
Dear god.

Bill Oreilly and Richard Dawkins on gods and atheism
Richard Dawkins and Bill Oreilly have a short debate and Richard Dawkins points out that truth is truth irregardless of what you believe. As usual, Bill Oreilly misses the point and immediately tries to demanize his guest - indirectly of course. Claiming that some of the worst mass murders in history were atheist, and that they were able to commit such atrocities because they were atheist, and thus had no sense of morality. Richard Dawkins partially points out the fallacy in Bill's argument, but then they run out of time.

Christopher Hitchens vs Al Sharpton on Atheism and God
Christopher Hitchens, who is the author of "God Is Not Great", debates Al Sharpton at the New York Public Library (NYPL) on May 7 2007. Debate topics include God, religion, and atheism. Debate moderated by Jacob Weisberg of Slate magazine.
"Taking on possibly the greatest issue of our time - the malignant force of religion in the world - Christopher Hitchens makes the ultimate case against religion through a close and learned reading of the major religious texts, citing numerous historical instances in which sexual repression and outrageous acts of violence have been committed in the name of God.
Christopher Hitchens argues for a more secular life based on science and reason, in which hell is replaced by the Hubble telescope's awesome view of the universe, and Moses and the burning bush give way to the beauty and symmetry of the double helix." -- from Hitchens' new book "God Is Not Great - How Religion Poisons Everything".

Jesus Christ last words before he died
According to the Holy Bible what was Jesus from Nazarath last words before he died?

"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" according to Mark 15:34

John Lennon - Imagine (music video)
Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Image all the people
Living for today
Image there's no conutries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
and no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
and the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
a broterhhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world.
You may say that 'im a dreamer
But i'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
and the world will live as one.

In this episode Ben Stein is again taken to task over his mindless spin doctoring (not dissimilar to his 'universities are fortresses of nonsense' line), most annoyingly his statement that 'science leads to killing people'.
