Correcting Ken Ham and his Facebook following
AronRa was addressing comments posted by Ken Ham of answersingenesis. Ken Ham not only ridiculed AronRa's wife for her accurate explanation of human taxonomy, but he also denied the scientific consensus that 'wisdom' teeth are evidence of evolution or vestiges of ape ancestry.
Answering answers in Genesis: Why wisdom teeth are vestigial evidence that Ken Ham is an ape. This was AronRa's presentation to the Dallas Fellowship of Freethought on 2013/06/16.

Ken Ham: 'Intolerant' Liberals Won't Fund Noah's Ark Park
In this video, Ken Ham of Answers In Genesis admits that he is building a Noah's Ark theme park as an "evangelist outreach," but says he's a victim of religious intolerance because Kentucky won't give it taxpayer funding.

Ken Ham's Christmas Irony Overload
"But it's the atheists who are destroing children's lives by trying to force their anti-God, meaningless religion on generations of kids."

The Arrogance of Creationism (5)
In this final episode of The Arrogance of Creationism, we get to the root of what motivates creationism. (You don’t get a prize for guessing what that might be.)
While this isn’t exactly news, it’s only fitting that I finally bring up this elephant in the room. This is because it allows us to tie together everything that has been discussed so far, and also because it allows us to look at what I think is the most arrogant aspect of creationism: the fact that at its root, it is hypocritical. Creationists, not only are you full of shit, you KNOW that you’re full of shit, yet you claim that you know better than those of us who study these topics for a living. Creationists use the Bible to defend their intellectual laziness, hypocrisy, and arrogance, and that just rubs me the wrong way.

Ken Ham: A Thousand Lies To Defend A "Truth"
Ken Ham claims he knows the 'Truth' but can provide no evidence for it. Instead he and his team spread disinformation and lies and hide facts from their audience.
When you need to tell a thousand lies to defend a 'Truth', what does it tell you about that 'Truth'?

Magic is not impossible
In a video Thunderf00t made in response to the Ken Ham - Bill Nye debate, Thunderf00t claimed that Ken Ham was being internally inconsistent, and this wasn't the case (at least, not here, anyway).
Ken Ham believes that life cannot come from non-life on its own, but if God intervenes, well then, anything could happen. That's not internally inconsistent, it's just that Ken Ham believes in magic, and if you're going to debate such a man, you have to understand that about him.

Bill Nye Ken Ham Debate Summed Up In Two Very Telling Answers
"On Tuesday evening more than 3 million people tuned in to watch "Science Guy" Bill Nye debate Ken Ham, founder of the biblically literalist Creation Museum on the topic "Is creation a viable model of origins?"
Is creation a viable model of origins in today's modern, scientific era? Creation Museum head Ken Ham is joined at the Creation Museum by Emmy Award-winning science educator and CEO of the Planetary Society Bill Nye.
Mr. Ham believes that the world was created over a six 24-hour-day period about 6,000 years ago, and that all living land animals today are descended from those taken aboard Noah's Ark some 4,500 years ago.
Nye challenged Ham's literal biblical view on several fronts, pointing out that radioisotopic and ice core data shows that the Earth has been around for far longer than the 6,000 years that Ham says it is, as does our ability to view stars that are more than 6,000 light years away. Nye also pointed out that Noah's Ark, were it constructed the way the Bible says it was, wouldn't actually stay afloat. "*

Bill Nye's Debate Victory Lap on The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell
Bill Nye "The Science Guy" went to the Creation Museum to debate "is creation a viable model of origins in today's modern scientific era?" After the debate, Bill Nye came to the Last Word to discuss his faceoff with the founder of the Creation Museum, Ken Ham.
Nye said he accepted the debate challenge because the spread of creationism "frightens" him. "I don't think I'm going to win Mr. Ham over any more than Mr. Ham thinks he's going to win me over," Nye said. "Instead, I want to show people that this belief is still among us. It finds its way onto school boards in the United States."
Ham, on the other side, told TheBlaze why he challenged Nye to the debate. "I just think it's really healthy for the public to actually hear two people like this that are really polar opposites in many ways," he said, "because what you believe about who you are [and] where you came from affects your whole worldview."

What is science?
Ken Ham-Bill Nye debate: Just one point, Ken...
I've uploaded a piece about this on my Potholer54 Facebook page. Basically, I think it's a mistake to share a public platform like this with Creationists. Unless they can be questioned directly, it is simply a forum to make equal speeches in equal time. And that gives Creationism legitimacy. You have to be very familiar with Creationist arguments to be able to anticipate and ambush them.
